Dazm66 Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 So whilst my beloved was getting her eyes tested yesterday I went for a wander round town and found this hanging up in the local cash converters for the princely sum of £180. Would have been rude not to! Squier 60s classic vibe. Now I know why people bang on about these. Great instrument and finally have a P bass. Just need to find some low tension flats now. 24 Quote
peety Posted September 18, 2023 Posted September 18, 2023 funnily enough i picked up an identical bass for 185 quid at Cash Generator in Wigan its in pristine condition, going off to get a pro set up and new strings then it'll become back up to my Maruscyck for gigs and will definitely get a few outings Quote
Dazm66 Posted September 18, 2023 Author Posted September 18, 2023 Nice one! Unusually low prices for the cash convertor type businesses. One went on eBay last night for £260. We both got a bargain! 1 Quote
Grahambythesea Posted September 18, 2023 Posted September 18, 2023 Really nice bass for the money. Did you get one that wasn’t covered in the remains of a few pints of beer? Last time I had guitars from pawn brokers they were pretty pretty sticky and dirty. 1 Quote
TheGreek Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 There are all sorts of bargains around at the moment. I've seen lots of Amps and cabs for silly money - your local Nextdoor.co.uk is a good place to start. Quote
