Ruck
Anyone notice La Bella Strings arnt the same as they used to be? On my main P bass, I have a 10 year old set of La Bella Deep Talking strings that still feel and sound fantastic. The new sets I have bought recently are just not the same. They feel/sound more rubbery and break easily. Almost like Im buying fake sets but theyre from big named online shops so that cant be. This just me? Reggaebass
Most of mine are 10 or over 20 years old but I do have a few basses with recent ones on and they are fine, something doesn’t sound right about those, have you contacted labella Edited September 22, 2023 by Reggaebass
Rodders
I have a 760FM set on my main bass, not noticed any issues, they were lightly used when I got them from a fellow forum member here but I've noticed any issues with this set or sets I've used in the past. Those were a sealed pack from Bass Direct. I ordered them as soon as I heard that in the US La Bellas were appearing with coloured ballends — I presumed (correctly) that Bass Direct would still have sets with the older brass ballends. I rather liked them, but had put them on very much the wrong bass.
obbm
I've recently strung 3 of my basses with Labella 750N black nylon strings. With two of the sets had a faulty D-string which they have very kindly replaced.
NAS Bass
Not long since put a new set of 760FL's on one of my Precisions - all seems as should be and how they have always been
fretmeister
Fake strings are a thing. Always buy from somewhere you trust.
