Stumbled on this -  Thomas Dolby's the making of  SBMWS.  I  always admired Dolby, and he always seemed like a genuine human being, as well as a fabulous composer.

Has a great sense of humour too, IMO

Thomas Dobly so very underrated

He's an amazing guy, unbelievable what he has achieved. He created the software synth that powered music in Nokia phones and more in the 90s/early 00's. Here's him talking at Sweetwater.

Joking aside, as has been said already, the man is a class act. He even edited out the bit where Bowie says ‘very brilliant’ when he introduces TD.
