GASing for an Amp/Cab

The Barefaced Compact seems like a really strong contender at the minute on the cab side - from everything I've read so far, they seem like little miracles.

Thanks for all the amp head suggestions so far as well guys. I'm going to take another look at the Ashdowns, and check into the Line6s, Aguilars and Hartkes, all of which I know absolutely nothing about.

Good job I'm not in a rush - this could take some time to settle. Although the more I talk about it all, the worse the GAS gets.

There's an Aguilar cab for sale on here somewhere (FLANKER) (lovely Green colour) if I were
you I'd look at it .Then look for the head.......

where are u based? I have a couple of lowdowns if ur near the cambs area. Im considering splitting to seperate cab n head and if i do it wil probs be 4 1 of alexs cabs with the lowdown.

I've got an ashdown EVO III MAG-300 Combo with 4x10" speakers and it's perfect for what I use it for (small/medium gigs: the kind where you turn up and you have no techie). Hartke are good for something with a bit of natural 'growl' and, I suppose in theory, metal.
