Rodders
Does anyone use the JHS Haunting Mids on their board? Looking at possibly using this for fretless and in general to help in the mix. Any thoughts, experience and alternatives welcome. Cheers!

paul_5
EWS BMC is another great single-band mids pedal. Not tried the Haunting Mids but I've had very positive experiences with it; brilliant piece of kit!
Rodders
Thanks Paul, I've pinged Andertons a message to ask if they can source an EWS BMC2 as the original seems to be discontinued.
fmb
The Artec Parametric EQ is cheap and readily available, but I have no experience with it.

From the information on Artec's homepage however it says that the Q value (bandwidth) is only adjustable between 4 to 7, which would be a relatively narrow bandwidth. I know at least that for general tone shaping I would have found a Q value that could be adjusted between 0.5 to 4 much more useful. Yeah, narrow bandwidth (high Q) is great if used for cutting problem frequencies, but not very useful for general tone shaping purposes, where higher bandwidth (lower Q) will be much more useful. It seems like the Artec parametric EQ was designed with the former in mind.
paulo m
The best pedal I've found for accurate frequency shaping mids boost or cut' with added H. P. F & L. P. F is the Tech 21 Q Strip. Ive found it to be 'ultra quite' also & much better than other so called high end Preamps... its an extremely versitile little box.
