maxrossell
Mute/Tuner. Don't have to break the bank for a good one, and I think they're necessary if you're having to tune up when there's other noise going on.

Eight
I recently bought one of those grip/finger/callus builder things and its actually helping quite a lot. £16 from a shop, can be had for much less online.

lemmywinks
Got a Seiko keyring tuner for £5.50, very accurate. Great for noodling around the house, esp as my classical guitar refuses to stay in tune for longer than 5 minutes!

lemmywinks
One of those little tool kits from the pound shop is always handy. Normal and mini screwdrivers, pliers and pincers. All rubbish quality but a life saver in an emergency

Where from?...... there supposed to be Twice that?...[/quote] A local guitar shop (who sadly has fallen into disrepute), i've bought a bit of stuff from him in the past (2+ grand) and bought two at the same time, one for my nephew who showed an interest in learning the guitar. Never checked the price, i'd be happy to pay that for it though. It's a lot more accurate than other portable tuners i've used and is less finicky too. Really easy to use and gets you in concert pitch in no time at all
