As regards to the east i always see them come up second hand on here but never the auderes i dont know if this is because less people use the audere or more people keep them,as soon as i have some spare wonga im putting one of these in my jazz.

There are a lot less Auderes. Go to the otherside of the pond... there are a lot less East units.

+1 for the East

Had a marcus retro fitted to my miller bass ,and it pretty much does most things now.

I think the j retro deluxe is basically the same circuit ,but by all means check this with Mr East himself, Johns a great guy , and very helpful .

I wanted the NJ4SV's instead of the stock Fender U.S pups for a change, and for humcancelling capability. I still will probably do this, but the actives don't really appeal to me. I'd consider looking to Dimarzio as well.
