You rang?  I mean, sheep are my usual fare, but I could branch out a bit.

Archelogically impossible to differentiate between sheep and goat remains aparrently...

Very true; sheep naturally looked like long-haired goats, their wool being a sort of under-layer.  Once humans had developed farming they bred the hair off and the wool quantity up.  However, as we all know, sheep are twp and goats are the messengers of Satan.

Old Stan can't have much worthwhile to say then...

You ever tried persuading a recalcitrant billy to do something he doesn't want to do?

Hopefully you're wearing the appropriate Julie Andrews tyrolean frock  (it is the weekend after all)

The very one you bought for me that evening. 😘

Also back on OP, a Trace BLX combo. Great idea, small combo design etc and very well built.

Just sounded meh and heavier than my car.

First thing that came to mind was an epiphone Thunderbird, but actually I regret always trying to “trade up” to better basses. Looking back with what I know now, some of those basses I traded were far better for gigging with than the high end boutique gear I ended up with and subsequently sold.

It's all to do with whether their tails stick up or hang down (thank you, QI).

Just thought of another one.

Yamaha Attitude Mk3.

The one I got at a very good price was astonishingly heavy. 12lb+. I love the Attitude basses (I gigged a Mk1 for ages) and I really wanted to love it.

It had to go.

Does that mean a certain rather lovely KS is very much off your radar now? 😁

Ashdown Rootmaster head and a pair of the 1x12 Neo cabs, sounded lightweight, build quality of one of the cabs was dreadful. Gigged it once, sold it right after. But I know there will be folks here he would take the opposite view - it’s all about opinions!
