I certainly remember a Yamaha being played back then and a quick Google backs that up.

There's hardly a bad track on it.

cetera
It's the BB3000S. Not active just a little different... BB3000 Nut width: 43mm Usually 2 knobs (V/T) and a selector switch, some have 3 knobs Made in Japan BB3000S nut width: 40mm 3 knobs (V/V/T) Made in Japan or Taiwan
Lfalex v1.1
Is it true that Richard Page was approached by both Toto and Chicago to replace (presumably) Bobby Kimball and Peter Cetera respectively? @cetera's user name reminded me!
cetera
Yes. You are correct! Mickey Thomas (Starship) was also approached by Chicago.

Gave all my vinyl away, this is one album I miss. 1 hour ago, MartinB said: Those are some hairstyles 😆 ’80s at its best. I rather liked the styles back then, at least there was a style, rather than the mish mash there has been in recent years. I’d rock a mullet these days over the sparseness that I’m lumbered with - business in the front, party in the back.

Muzz
He definitely played a BB3000A (the active one) later, and even,(IIRC) a BB5000A... The BB3000S has a 40mm nut? Ohhh nooooooo, I thought I'd stopped looking for another BB because they were all (mostly) 42mm nut...this could cost me...
