Soft Step 2 mini USB repair

Can anyone recommend someone who can repair the mini USB on my KMI Soft Step 2. It has broken of the circuit board and I’m assured by KMI it is repairable. I have the schematics for anyone who can do the job. I have one local guy to try this week but would be happy with some backup recommendations. I’m in Scottish Borders so happy to travel to Edinburgh or Newcastle.

Hi, its a fairly straight forward job if the pcb isn't damaged. I'm not local to you unfortunately, and probably not worth the postage. You could try computer/laptop repair shops, usb port repair should be on their radar.
