Saw that. Probably a good idea, but, yeh, it's a mod. If I was interested, I'd ask to see the tailpiece side-on, but am not going to waste the guy's time. Quote
prowla Posted October 10, 2023 Posted October 10, 2023 (edited) Thanks, but I'll stick to my 4003s. There also seems to be some sign of separation between the neck-thru and wings; curiously it's at the tail-end and I'm wondering if the extra screws in the tailpiece have been badly drilled and gone into the join to cause it. (I think Ric did do them for a while.) Edited October 10, 2023 by prowla Quote
Thump Posted October 10, 2023 Posted October 10, 2023 I think it's just where the binding ends. But I know very little , please carry on Quote
prowla Posted October 11, 2023 Posted October 11, 2023 Indeed the binding does indeed end at that point; however the split appears to go into the body. Quote
neepheid Posted October 11, 2023 Posted October 11, 2023 I could have bought my current car six times over. Perspective. Quote
