Saw that. Probably a good idea, but, yeh, it's a mod. If I was interested, I'd ask to see the tailpiece side-on, but am not going to waste the guy's time. There also seems to be some sign of separation between the neck-thru and wings; curiously it's at the tail-end and I'm wondering if the extra screws in the tailpiece have been badly drilled and gone into the join to cause it.
