Visiting family in Ireland and happened upon this on a site.

Just back from a 4hr round trip to pick it up and all I can say is... wow.

What a beautiful instrument.

Recently, I bought a Lakland USA JO5 which had a DJ Retro preamp on it. I wanted to make it passive again. So I bought a control plate from @KiOgon and just installed it. Much, much, much better.

My bitsa medium scale P bass with 2 x Tonerider pickups and Jazz neck. Neck side pickup reversed. Stacked vol/tone and single blend.

Nice little lightweight hollow body shortscale , it came with an adjustable metal bridge , I find the wooden “popsicle stick” style sound better.

Somewhat modded 1980 CSL Jazz. Knobs are not original but are they stacked? Yes, yes they are.

 

 

And because not everything has to be from the Olden Days, a Sire V7 fretless that's only like, 5 years old.
