I'd also suggest the guy was on retainer for this exact situation. 

 

Seen Vince on Instagram multiple videos and absolutely asore his playing... however was always a bit dubious over how much editing was done. I'm very happy that he can do it live too.

Yes, but thank you for the reminder. One of my students is mad keen on Cody Fry so I’d heard this track and looked him up, before going to the gig. Great playing but the material isn’t quite my cup of tea.

Thanks for the heads up. I live in Manchester, but am in London the night Vincen is in our town! What’s the chances. ☹️

 

In case it’s not been mentioned, I’m not particularly a jazz fusion aficionado, but thought the Cory Wong Manchester Apollo gig last year was awesome. Vincen was outstanding. The band was brilliant.

This just floated past on the No Treble facebook feed. From last year, but it's Cory Wong and band, with Sonny T. and some bloke called Victor sits in as well.

I've listened to this yesterday and today. I really like it! I've followed Vincen on Instagram for a while and really like his playing. His tone is very consistent regardless of which bass he is playing and I really like it, it's not complex but it's punchy and at the front. I'd love to be able to play like him!
