Anyone got any pictures of stingrays with non-stingray bridges or is it burned at the stake to do this. Looking to upgrade mine (I have a stingray style bass but isn't a sterling sub etc) but I can only find the 'albridge' bridges and they are well out of price range and shipping to UK would be astronomical.

Failing that lets see them basses 🤟

Thanks in advance

It’s a Bitsa, Stingray neck, home finished body, G&L bridge. Photos taken a while back before it was properly set up and a few finishing touches to be completed.

Edit: I can’t see many bridges being replaced on a genuine Stingray as:

1. They are decent bridges

2. They frequently have the serial number on them.

3. There would be some ugly holes to cover up.

4. If you changed your mind s after getting rid of the original bridge you would have a hell of a job getting a replacement.

That looks well nice mate fair play.

Yeah mine isn't a proper one or I'm sure it would be fine. Mines only a cheap copy. Like that bridge looks tidy but still has the same kind of shape as the OG ones. Thanks for the reply
