PaulThePlug
Got two...One was my first bass, then the black one turned up on Gumtree... Walnut with Flats, Black with Rounds... ...And thats when my problems started... then SR600, SR300 another SR300 for modding, then another SR300 for modding... Honestly, i likes em.. try em next to a Squier Infinity. But,.. If ya want's a 38mm nut super sleek neck and the most wonderfully ergonomic body... SR300. A lot of SH GSR200 are not far of a SR300 £... got £150ish ? I wish i did. Where are you Bass-ed? I'm BR6 and you are welcome to give em a try. crazycloud
I have the 6 string version and it's great and played out with it at a community gig a while back and would have no hesitation in using it again. There are several other more expensive SRs and a BTB in my collection and it's not embarrassed in their company. The neck is stable as all get out and the humidity varies a lot here on an almost hourly basis it seems. The only thing I don't like is the finish, but for the price, I don't care. Paolo85
I had a GSR205b, not tje same but similar. Very good neck for the price point (including good fretwork). Sound I was not 100% in love - not that 9t was bad. My bet is that the split coil of the GSR200 would sound better
