Behringer Model D (Minimoog in desktop/Eurorack format) - reduced to £160 - *SOLD*
£179
Sheffield

Recommended Posts

This thing stacks up incredibly favourably against the real thing. Check out the audio comparison I made.

In excellent and fully working condition. Running the latest firmware.

Postage to be added (£16.95).

Collection from Sheffield welcome.

I could bring it to the Bristol/Bath area on the train when I’m next down.

(I would only do hand delivery for a completed sale as it’s a faff to bring it speculatively. Obviously the buyer would get chance to inspect thoroughly.)

Trades considered for the following (with cash adjustment to or from me where applicable):

Cog T-16/T-47

Boss OC-2

MXR VBO/BOD

3Leaf Octabvre

Markbass Vintage Pre

I have one of these and I really like it.

My only issue is that I spend ages looking for a compatible keyboard and then they went and release the model with an integral one!

Played it with an Osmose and that’s a very cool combination as you can route aftertouch to mod depth and get the pitch bend on the lateral key wiggle.

Are you talking about the Poly D when you mentioned the integral keyboard? It doesn’t really sound the same as the gain staging has been adjusted to accommodate the fourth oscillator and the keybed isn’t very good. Or did you mean the Moog reissue (which is lovely).

I meant the Poly D.

I'm no keyboard player, so would likely just noodle around and work out a couple of tunes.

I'm not in real Moog territory (unless they're really cheap and/or it's a set of Taurus pedals at the same time as I have a pocketful of spare cash!).

In case this weren’t obvious, as this is a MIDI device, you can trigger it with anything that sends MIDI note data, so that even includes footpedal controllers such as the Morningstar stuff.

I can't believe it either... From my short experience of it, the Model D is a blast!

I keep looking down the back of the sofa for spare change but all I'm finding is sadness.

I don’t get it; all the synth bass nuts on this forum and not one bite on this wonderful instrument.  🤷🏻‍♀️ Folks will spend hundreds on pedals to try and cop these tones and still not yet close. What’s the issue? Not enough photos, not enough sound demos? Not enough free saleable internal organs included?

I think the ony reason it's not shifted has to be the asking price: £179 plus £17 postage = £198 doesn't stack up well against the new price of £219 (Andertons inc. free delivery).
