I had this (once pristine) Contemporary Jazz 5 string which got damaged in transit.  I don't want to repair it, but it might make a nice project for someone that's interested or someone that has a spare neck kicking around.

 

The original neck is beyond repair, but the body is mint and all the hardware is here.

If it was my ad I'd edit the title to make clear it's a fiver - that's not instantly obvious from the pics, and I'd be expecting people to think (as I did) "oh a Fender-dimensions neck will drop straight in"... could make for an unhappy buyer.

 

Or I could buy it myself.  Pretty, that.  Decisions, decisions
