I will replace the missing machine head screws next week

American USA Standard 4 string bass. Comes with an Aguila pre amp professionally fitted by Martyn Booth of Martyn Booth guitars. Been a sturdy, loyal servant and sounds great. The Aguila ore amp sounds punchy and adds to the sound.

 

Maple neck

 

Plays and feels great but could do with a setup as there is some fret buzz on the top frets on the G string.

 

Has some wear on the sides of the neck and head and there is a paint chip on the side and some scratches on the front and marks, see pics, but overall in a good condition. Only selling because I don't gig or play much now and only need 1 bass.

 

Comes with a hardcase and Fender truss rod adjuster.

Have you got the screws and washers that are missing from the two machineheads? Without those the gears will fall off.

Nah, on a Jazz that's a downgrade. IMHO Jazzes sound right with BBOT.

I’ve never known a bridge make a difference to tone. But you can remove and resell the bridge.

I never noticed them missing and I've owned the bass for 18 years. Good spot I will see if I can get some replacements although the gears are not loose and the bass stays in tune.
