Aidan63 Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 popped up in my youTube feed, apologies if you already know of the builder, thought it might be of interest to some, despite the (don't mention the B word) issue I'd quite like something similar in 4 string, might put one together from parts I have assembled in last few years, when I get time sorry I still don't seem to be able to embed YT vids youtube linky Quote

Aidan63 Posted October 24, 2023 Author Posted October 24, 2023 thank you for the knowledge, and for posting the video thus 👍 hopefully I will remember how next time I need to Quote
Baloney Balderdash Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 I really like the overall design, and it seems like the neck is more narrow than usually found on 5 string basses too, which is a plus to me, however that seems to lead to the problem of the 2 outer strings being concerningly close to the edge of the fretboard, as far as I can tell, closer then I would be comfortable with, also I would probably tune it E to C, like the 5 upper strings of a 6 string bass. TheGreek Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 A custom bitza!! Looks like it was put together from bits they had lying about - reverse 5er neck, Jag body.... Not for me. Quote
Aidan63 Posted October 25, 2023 Author Posted October 25, 2023 Built for and with the player, out of mostly local materials, in a not quite a Fender but with a nod to style, which many will appreciate, like Novo guitars. You have your Jabba bass, we all know you don't need anything else Quote
