Practice Amp bluetooth options

Hi

What amps do you guys use for practice?

I am looking for a small amp that has bluetooth. Cheap, easy, small. Battery powered would be ideal

This is perfect but too much money for me to spend on noodling while watching TV

Why not buy an amp with headphone out and use Bluetooth headphones with the adapter? I do this with great results on my Peavey Microbass.

 Supernaut. Cool name. Amazing album.

That could be a good option, as I have an amp/combo already. What do you mean 'with the adaptor"?

I am thinking more about sending the phone via bluetooth to an amp then plugging in headphones if needed. I may just stick to playing through a computer with headphones, but am looking to see if there is a lazy person method for noodling in front of the TV (sound down of course)

If your amp has aux in and headphone out you just need to add a Bluetooth adapter to the aux in. I've got one of these https://www.fiio.com/btr3

I've also had good results with a darkglass Element pedal. This is a cab sim with DI and dual headphone out and both aux and Bluetooth in for any backing you want to play along to.

Hope this helps

Black Star BEAM and Positive Grid Spark are great for this. They are multi instrument amps, recording interfaces, have loads of effects, just use as a v good quality Bluetooth speaker too.... They're fantastic as a practice tool.

Those both look great, especially the Spark combo. Thanks

I had a Spark Go when it came out. Very good for lead and rhythm but not much cop for bass. Might be something to do with a 2" speaker.

I suspect the bigger Spark amps with bigger speakers are significantly better. I liked the software  they supply as well.

Try before you buy.

Yeah the 40watt Spark is a bit meh for bass but it does the job if you accept it for what it is. You're never going to gig it or record by mic'ing it up so for playing along to MP3s it's doing the job. Far better as a guitar amp.

I was looking at the Spark Go which is about 2W :)

These are meant to be surprisingly good:

Add bluetooth capability via an adapter in the aux input:

I have one of those little BT adapters connected to my amp, I added an adhesive magnet to it so it doesn't move around.

EDIT : This one is a quid more and has bluetooth built in:

That looks exactly like what I want. Cheers

I would add the Ashdown b-social to that list. Great bit of kit with wireless bass input and Bluetooth in for aux (no Bluetooth out however). I don’t think they make them anymore, so second hand market only.
