New Jerzy Drozd single-cut design

Thought this may be of interest. Jerzy's take on the single-cut design. He's currently running a competition for the naming of the new design with the prize being the prototype. It might not be my cup of tea but if he's giving it away.....

Some superb attention to detail in the fittings but the body shape is a little too fussy for me.

Well, it's certainly a bass.

I'd call it the Flange, mainly as that was the first thing to come into my head, even though the top side single cut with it's mini cut looks like a whale with its gob open.

I generally like Jerzy Drozd basses, but I don't like that one

Er, I'm loving it from the back, but not overly keen on the hard edge finish on the front (each to their own I guess)
find the figuring a bit 'two way' maybe the horizontal hold is faulty, ( some of you young 'us will wonder what I'm blathering about, but us
oldies will remember )

I could do without the 'kick' at the tail, but I like the way the top horn goes to a point. Yeah, I could definitely live with it.
