jmanfunk Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 (edited) Thought this may be of interest. Jerzy's take on the single-cut design. He's currently running a competition for the naming of the new design with the prize being the prototype. It might not be my cup of tea but if he's giving it away..... Kiwi Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Some superb attention to detail in the fittings but the body shape is a little too fussy for me. Quote
Buzz Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Well, it's certainly a bass. I'd call it the Flange, mainly as that was the first thing to come into my head, even though the top side single cut with it's mini cut looks like a whale with its gob open. Quote
xilddx Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Pot Noodle Dirty Bastard - that's what I'd call it. Quote
peted Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 I generally like Jerzy Drozd basses, but I don't like that one Quote
Faithless Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Looks kinda Fodera'esque to me.. Can't say, that it looks bad, though. What's wrong with it? Quote
Shockwave Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Well i have submitted my suggestions! A bit lame and dont mean much. Protégé Prologue Prodigal Kinda fits in with the rest of the model names. Quote
Jerzy Drozd Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Hi Guys! Thanks for comments, greatly appreciated! jerzy Quote
soopercrip Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Er, I'm loving it from the back, but not overly keen on the hard edge finish on the front (each to their own I guess) find the figuring a bit 'two way' maybe the horizontal hold is faulty, ( some of you young 'us will wonder what I'm blathering about, but us oldies will remember ) Andy Quote

Ballie Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 I'll bet it sounds as great as it looks! Can't wait to see those in action. Quote
paul h Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 I tried to enter but the forum wouldn't let me join with my googlemail address. I can't remember the name I thought of but it was obviously the winning one because of it's awesomeness! Quote
Rich Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 I could do without the 'kick' at the tail, but I like the way the top horn goes to a point. Yeah, I could definitely live with it. Thinking cap on re: name. Quote
steve Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 I like it.
It fits with the image most Jerzy players have
what image Toasted? Quote
