It’s a surprisingly good bass actually. Lots of low end, great for a thumpy dub tone, and very nice to play, with a nice action too.

I was just wondering if you'd done anything about those couple of little chips on the headstock near the nut on the G string side, and you've cunningly put it on a wall hanger so I can't see!

No, I haven’t done anything about damage. I don’t mind chips and dings, they’re all part of the story of the guitar. The only “work” I do is on working parts that affect the playability of the instrument. Anything cosmetic, I don’t tend to bother.
