Sugi guitars

What can You say about these Japanese guitar and bass craftmanship? I own one, but it's not pure Sugi - it's made by Sugi for Ibanez - GWB1005 (2006.year). Great 5 string, fretless bass, ideal for me.

I lusted after many a Sugi on the u-box. They'd be north of 3k, even second hand, after VAT and import duty, so I'll admire from afar.
