Up is a cracking example of a 75 RI Jazz.

I bought this at a Japenese non export specialist in Barcelona. I tried 6 75RI's and this was easily the one, and clearly player owned, I took it straight on stage that night and the whole band + FOH preferred it to the rental MIM deluxe jazz we had (artist even gave me a solo 🤣) It's a great and fast playing example with all the mojo you'd expect.

It came fitted with Atelier pickups (which are fantastic) and a proper Badass 2, and I fitted a hipshot D Tuner which I'm happy to leave on (original is obviously included with the sale). It has a few wears here and there as it has been toured but looked after (Mica Millar, B*Witched, Elio Pace).

Not really looking to trade as this is going towards a big boy custom Jazz. But please message me if you're thinking about a cash my way deal. Open to all sorts.

Based in Liverpool but travel all the time so happy to do meet ups.

Corblimey that’s handsome.

It really is! If I didnt have an old one, and a custom 5 on the way it wouldn't be going anywhere. Im in the fortunate but horrible position that getting rid of anything is toture 😂

Is that a battery compartment on the back mate?

Ahhh yes!!!!!! I have never used it, but apparently there is some kind of wizardry inside it

I've recently picked up a non export JB62-US. After about 9 jazzes passing through my hands (including a Roadworn, three AVRIs, a Nash and even a Celinder) the MIJ Fender J impresses me most. These are great basses...

What makes it a non export.? Not trying to be a smart derrière but ive owened many a non export MIJ Jazz and they usually come with (like my previous one)70s pickup spacing.. Matching headstocks etc. Its a MIJ 75 RI with upgrades which by the way are very cool. Those AZ pickups are impossible to buy by the way and are epic. Atelier Z won't sell them to anyone.

Hey! This was what I was told when I purchased it, the seller Guitar Shop Barcelona specialise in getting stuff not designed to leave Japan for the foreign market. Its my understanding that like gibson in the US, the best examples stay in the domestic market in Japan. I may be wrong though!

I've got my eyes on a few toys at the moment, so I'm open to offers on this cracker of a bass. Ive had the opportunity to get a friends actual 70's J, othwrwise id keep it. Try me!

The post has had lots of views and likes on the bass, but no enquiries yet. So if you have something in mind drop me a message. Ideally after cash but couple be tempted by a trade and cash on almost anything

I'm driving from Liverpool to Brighton this saturday 7th Sep. So drop offs to a large part of the country are doable, and I'd happy do a good deal for a quick sale.

I've had a lot of questions regarding weight. The luggage scale shows it at 5.3kg for anyone wondering
