This is an excellent student instrument.  I bought it new from Tim Toft's Luthiers of Stone, Staffordshire in 2017, costing £1700.  Since then I have upgraded it with a sturdier endpin.  It is strung with Evah Pirazzi strings.  I play classical bass on it but it would work equally well for jazz.  Post grade 6 I have upgraded my instrument which is why I am selling.   It is in good condition, just has some scuff marks to the varnish.  It's enjoyable to play and works particularly well in the higher registers. I am in Whaley Bridge which is just off the A6 and not far from Manchester.
