The Vintera II got a good try out at rehearsals last night and it’s a lovely bass and a keeper

It is virtually no different to the original Vintera in feel and sound but it’s the new black model and that looks really smart.

They have a clarity to the tone which for me as a finger player who struggled with enough attack ( hence the period of pick playing ) is a great result ..  I can definitely recommend the Vintera II series PBass

Ive changed the BBOT bridge to a Gotoh 204-B which I did on my other Vintera and it works very well and gives better stability I feel ( no side squirm of the saddles )

Incidently it was set up very well out of the box and action was just right. I could still achieve my preferred action with the Gotoh bridge

After with Gotoh fitted

Might be the lighting, but that new bridge looks too "chromey" now against the anodised pickguard.  Fully embrace the black and gold and go for gold hardware?  It's very in this season...

Actually it’s the light .. both bridges are equally as chrome in finish
