Behringer Ultra DI, the Guitar version.

As far as i can see this is the same as the standard one, but with an EQ curve to simulate a guitar cab. 
i need to get one or the other for our bass player, and can get the standard one a few £ cheaper, but i like the idea of the cab sim as this is for monitoring  and IEM use only. 
 

Anyone use the Red one for bass?

I've used the red one for guitar with great effect for a lot of years, but never with bass.

However, the eq curve is switchable IIRC

Yeah, it can be turned off, but i was wondering if it was worth getting for bass.
As it happens it’s irrelevant now, as i remembered i still have a BDI21, which will be perfect for the job.
