Fodera Monarch Standard 4 £3250 - *SOLD* £4000 LEIGH-ON-SEA

Fodera Monarch Standard 4 (one of the older standards, not like the new models). 
EMG P/J pickups, 18v 2 band EQ, also passive option with the push pull volume pot. 
Really great playing bass, action can get very low although I have it set more standard for me. Massive range of tones, really great EQ, also a great passive ‘p bass’ tone. 
Very well made, I will regret letting it go but it’s just not getting the use it deserves from me. 
Has a few knocks which I have photographed. Comes with original case (it works but the combination lock is broken), and truss rod tool. 
 

Update: Had a think and reduced price to £3250. Will stay at this on Basschat, before listening elsewhere.

I have a 2003 New Monarch Standard with the same preamp (I think your is a HAZ Lab) and absolutely love it, someone will be delighted with this !!!!

This is my old bass 🙂 Can confirm it's a fab bit of kit. I bought it new from The Gallery in back in 2006 and sold it on in 2019. Glad to see it's still wearing well! I'm almost tempted but never go back, right?!

Out of pure interest can you recall whether this was a HAZ Lab and what were the 4 controls in your configuration (mine has EMG's as well)

Not wanting to hijack @MarshallBTB sale thread, but to the best of my recollection it was an 18v Pope 2 band eq (see picture from when it was mine). Controls were Vol with pull passive/blend/bass cut & boost/treble cut and boost.

Those were called "Monarch New Standard" and should sport the same Pope 2 band pre as the older NYC. 

Also share the 3 piece neck, angled headstock and "wave" thing where the bolts are. All features that are now reserved for the Custom line. 

I guess they're pretty scarce in number I'd say one or 2 batches of 50 or 100 at most.
