Bought very recently on here, thinking they might fit my BSX upright. Sadly, they don't (doh!)

Well, I could probably make them fit, by paring back the silks a bit at the nut - but decided against it.

These are basically a brand new set, I fitted the G very briefly to my bass, which is when I made the discovery.

 

£80 posted. (I paid £100 for them on here - so this is a good price for a brand new set, I think)
EDIT: Just checked, and these seem to be around £150 - £160 a set!

 

Drop:Now £70 - absolute steal for someone needing new NS EUB strings

Just to be clear - the E, A and D strings are mint condition and unused. The G was only briefly fitted to my bass.
This is effectively a brand new set, bar the G - which was only fitted to an instrument for a very short time.
Someone with an NS Design EUB can grab a bargain set of brand new replacement strings, for half price....

They compare favourably. They're similar - just lighter tension. I had a set on a NS i owned previously, and i was happy with them. They're perhaps just slightly "darker" than standard strings (but just a little). They still bow just fine too.

 

It's just a shame that they didn't fit my current EUB (a BSX) or they would be my ideal strings for it.

I can't believe these haven't sold. There must be an NS player out there who needs a new set of strings. Or are the low tension versions the least popular?
If I still had my old NS, I'd even keep these as spares.

The cheapest I've seen these is £151 online - this set is effectively brand new and unused, bar 1 string which was just put onto a bass. Someone must surely need a new or spare set for their NS Design EUB?
This is a crazy saving for a new set of strings. They're sat around doing nothing - unless there's another bass I can use them on.... any suggestions anyone?
