I actually finished this in 2018, but never gave it a proper release outside of the film it was part of. The documentary was all about the Congolese Sapeurs - a much larger story about filming in the Congo is for another time! The soundtrack is a collection of pop, rumba, afrobeat, swing and funk. It sounds like chaos on paper, and it was admittedly too ambitious, but I feel we managed to just about pull it off. Listening now, there's stuff I'd do differently, and mixing choices I'd change, but all the original files are long gone. Anyway, thanks for checking it out + Would love to hear feedback. Cheers!
