wateroftyne Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 (edited) A bit of a get-together down by the Tyne today. Lots of it spent messing with a Kemper and a mad Russian plastic bass from the 80s. Edited December 4, 2023 by wateroftyne 19 Quote
Reggaebass Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 that looks like a great day out , out of interest what year is that one, it looks just like a 69 I looked at Quote
Cosmo Valdemar Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 Wonderful pics! Very unusual burst on that Precision there. Quote

vbance Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 (edited) Interesting, I've got one and almost bought another from Reading last year, it was a natural finish one not the burst which I have....still regret not getting it. Edited December 4, 2023 by vbance 1 Quote

Beedster Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 Defo a trad feel to the basses on show, and nothing at all wrong with that 👍 Quote

Chris2112 Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 Who does the Flea Jazz belong to? I've always liked the look of those but have been put off by tales of shonky necks (surely a tiny percentage of all those sold, since you only ever hear about problems). Can it get a good growly Jazz sound going? I'm not expecting a 70's style ash 'n' maple style growl but I like a little bit of a buzzy snarl from a J. What did you all think of it? 1 Quote
