Frivolous in that i dont need it, but want something smaller for a gig board and it is more than I'd generally spend on a distortion pedal. I currently use an ART Tube MP with my double bass and it makes it sound just slightly better - warmer and more muscular. Thump Posted December 10, 2023 Share Posted December 10, 2023 I'd be getting my Aria fretless tore down and given the attention it needs by someone who knows what they're doing. The electronics are all shot and the pickups are microphonic , so maybe a little more than 200.
