I'm sure a lot of people haven't.  Also, they did say in the video that they'd only just encountered these basses for the first time.  I usually scoff at these sort of claims (seriously sceptical about these so-called "reaction" videos) but I think that true this time.  Personally, I prefer if they do a bit of research on the product and tell us authorative stuff about it rather than chin stroking maybes, but hey if I'm not happy then I can always make my own video about it.

As with anything, I think we need to take anything Andertons says on these as they are the European distributor. Still, Cici and Lee both seem like standup people and I doubt they say anything that isn't true

The contents certainly did arrive intact, I've just been rushed off my feet with the pre-Christmas rush. Will try to do one this week. First impressions are very favourable - nice neck, lovely colour, sounds like a bass, but I need to do a bit more of an in-depth comparision between it and my other basses, and maybe even play it with my band if we get our act together.

Some time ago I found a wiring diagram for the Roscoe Beck -- I'm assuming it's accurate as I've never seen the innards of one. I'd definitely consider performing some surgery if I got one of these.

I remember lusting after the RB bass as a very young and inexperienced player, mainly because the ad mentioned a switch to give the "classic Jazz Bass growl".

I now realise I was imagining a different sound entirely and what is offered is about as far from my ideal tone as you can get 😄
