Which Lakland is this?

Hi all. Have a Lakland bass and I'm not sure of the model. Can any one help or tell me how to find out what model this is? Thanks.

Looks like a Lakland Skyline 44-60.

It is. Also looks like a Korean made bass, so before 2008, possibly still with the Fralin pickups.

I think it’s a 2006. Has 06 at the start of the serial. That makes it a 2006 I think doesn’t it?

Yes, and that would also make it a bass with Fralin pickups. Pretty darn good basses, those early Skylines.

Aye if it's that age it's a Lakland Skyline Joe Osborn signature model. The numbering thing came later.

Joe Osborn. I had a candy apple red one, with Fralins. Absolutely outstanding bass, probably the best "jazz" bass I ever had.

Me too, I had a Dudepit ltd ed Joe Osborn in Sherwood Green with an East J-retro. Magnificent bass, but it proved (at the time) that I don't get along with skinny necks. Glorious sounding thing it was. Wish I had it now as my hands aren't as good as they once were!
