Duroc17 Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 (edited) I know this has been covered and I’ve been reading posts but I have specific questions that I’d appreciate your views. Best flats for string through mustangs id like: low tension not sticky good low end I’ve had 3 mustangs before - ah make that 4 with a Squier (actually 5 but sent one back due to poor QC)- but I’ve used TI flats in nearly all of them apart from first one a 66 which I had deep talking flats which were too stiff. And the TI coating makes them sticky - love TIs on 34” So what I’m asking is - would you got for La Bella MUS or LFTs - which are lower tension (guessing LFT but can they be strung through) or maybe another brand like Pyramid? Cheers 🍻 Edited December 14, 2023 by Duroc17 Quote
SurroundedByManatees Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 (edited) La Bella Mus are great. A good vintage sound with enough dynamics and definition with good range (incl low-end). I didn't experience them as stiff at all. Actually I just ordered a set for my new mustang. Will install them soon and I know I will enjoy them 😊 Edited December 14, 2023 by SurroundedByManatees 1 Quote
