HIPCHIP Posted December 16, 2023 Posted December 16, 2023 67 years of age and will be 68 next March. Still trying to live my rock & roll fantasy. I have a really nice 96 Fender American Standard J bass and I just got a limited addition Squire P bass which seems to be surprisingly good. Still learning and having back pain issues that don’t allow me to practice much but hopefully surgery in January will fix that. Hope to be screwing around with a band by this time next year. 3 1 Quote

nilorius Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 Best regards HIPCHIP. Just don't try to find a good back pain doctor here, better look at Jack Daniels sometimes. Quote
snorkie635 Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 Welcome and good luck with the surgery 😎 Quote
HIPCHIP Posted January 23, 2024 Author Posted January 23, 2024 Just had my back surgery. They found a tumor on my spine! The pain is gone, but the back is still sore from the 5 hour surgery. I’m finally able to practice again. Just having fun going between my old J bass and Newport bass. 3 Quote
