I'm sure it was obstructing the speaker... and now looks all the sleeker. Had the driver out and stuck a bit of left over wadding in. Doubt the 8" driver is 5 String Friendly, Fine with a Four... Then off-cuts of the off-cut for the sides. Should smooth the sound out a little a make it a bit less box-like... wadding reduces standing waves, and mid domination and also makes the cab sound larger...
