Hi all,

Merry Christmas to all.

Just a quick one - my friend has bought his son a guitar and amp for Xmas. On unwrapping this morning he's found the amp (black star) needs a 10V 3A adaptor (and the shop haven't supplied one). Has anyone idea a) if that's correct as it seems a weird power pull. b) will another adaptor do?

10 V / 3 A / 30 W is quite a lot. Any PSU capable of 10 V and at least 3 A would be fine, but may be slightly rare. The numbers are not the most common. I would turn back to the shop, before doing anything else.

Thanks, that what I thought. Very rare and weird connection.
