houghtonbasser
Hi Folks, first time posting here! I've owned a Markbass Little Mark III head for about 2 years now and have always just traveled with it in a backpack. However I've recently started playing bigger shows and need extra protection for when it's in the back of the band van. With that in mind, does anyone know what size rack case would fit this head (this would include rack ears which I will buy alongside the case). Been looking at Gator cases but anything ABS, none of that plywood crap! Thanks! NH
Chaosanator
With the Markbass rack ears it'll be 2 units of a standard 19" rack case, so any 2u case will be big enough. I think it'll fit in a shallow case.

Steve Browning
When ordering, make sure the internal depth is enough for the amp. As for abs, I always wonder if they are hefty enough to stay on top of the cab without moving. Cases with rubber feet for me.
Ed_S
I've used Gator and SKB (roto-rack) shallow cases for LM heads before and they fit just fine. Consider buying the 3U or 4U instead of the 2U, though. It's not that much heavier or massively more expensive, but... if you go for the Gator you'll get proper bar handles, there's more room for air circulation (vented rack blanks for the front look pretty slick), there's room to store cables if you want, you don't have to take the feet off the amp and inevitably lose them, and when the case is stood on its end it'll be harder to knock over. BassmanPaul
I use SKB products for all my rack equipment and my 'big' PA. No complaints about their quality or protection given.
