lidl e
Knobs ands jacks towards the top like this: Or at the bottom like this: I keep vacillating. I feel like knobs at bottom are more susceptible to move but knobs at top seems more likely to break. I suppose bottom makes more sense as you can keep ot in while open. I know im overthinking, but anyine else ever ponder this? What did you decide?

SumOne
Seeing as you have about £1k worth of Pedals there I'd get a hard case to protect them.

acidbass
I store mine so that the cables are at the top when the case is being carried. Just doesn't make sense to me to have a full pedalboard weighing down on top of the jacks - surely would increase risk of failure. You can simply unzip the bag and flip the top part underneath.
tauzero
Catches of the case towards me, hinges away from me. All velcroed down so no pressure is applied to anything.

I tend to put it in the case as I would use it i.e. the case lid is opened away from me and the pedalboard is orientated as it would be when in use (top of the pedals are to the bottom of the bag). That way when I open it I can put it in position without rotating it. It does mean I'm carrying them upside down though... and that feels off...
