Mike Watt - Rig Rundown

Now I LOVE a rig rundown bid.

 

And I bloody love Mike Watt. 
 

His music inspired my love of off-kilter punk.

 

His Podcast was the first one I listened to about 15 years ago. 
 

His Kayaking got me into paddling too. 
 

However, as I have no social media presence, I’ve not been up-to-date with what the crazy cat is doing. 
 

So don’t know a stitch about MSSV. But here Mike is still as knowledgeable and entertaining as ever. Even if he does seem a little out-of-sorts with his health. 
 

Nice wee mention of Barefaced cabs too!

Big fan of his bands and his playing like yourself. Have you seen the "missingmen" gigs on YouTube? Brilliant versions of Minutemen tunes and one shot with an amazing drummer right at the forefront of the stage and camera. Watt leading the band of course.

I was lucky enough to see him with fIREHOSE and later with the Missingmen and they were both outstanding shows.

What a work ethic - he never stops.

Following artists and musicians I like is the reason I have a social media presence. I find instagram is the best platform. You don’t need to get bogged down with the nonsense that’s on there. Just follow the people you want to follow.

Yes, very cool guy and player. 

I saw him using a Bergantino forte hp amp and Barefaced super twin previously.... the rig sounded awesome with his signature basses
