godathunder
Sad to hear that Del Palmer died yesterday https://www.katebushnews.com/2024/01/06/del-palmer-1952-2024/ I'll have to admit that I'm not 100% certain which Kate Bush tracks he played on, the above obviously being originally played by the late John Giblin, but I know that he played on Running Up That Hill, The Sensual World and Jig Of Life and was her engineer and programmer through most of her career. Anyway, Ive always been very jealous of the chap, not only was he Kate Bush's fella and collaborator, he had some quite excellent sideburns too
StingRayBoy42
An amazing player, always made what he did sound so effortless. A sad loss.

Kebabkid
Very sad news and along with Cetera (Gary), we were lucky to catch a scaled down Cloudbusting gig at The Half Moon, Putney where he got up and played but also regaled us of KB stories and he chatted to us. Such an integral part of KB's sound and success and much more on the personal side of things plus a great player. R.I.P 3
silverfoxnik
Very sad news indeed! Never met him as some here have, but I loved his bass playing and thought he came across as a decent human being in the interviews I saw him do. More than anything though, I'll remember his musical contribution as being especially significant in terms of Kate Bush's career - what he supported and enabled her to go on and achieve with her music can't be underestimated. RIP 😔
jazzmanb
Sad news indeed He was a big part of Kates work once she started to find independence in her music making Some great work on The Dreaming onwards and as much as I loved the big name cameo bass guests he did what was left brilliantly
