GT-1000 Core - How to rename CTR displays for 'Div Channel Selector'

Seems like a simple thing but I can't find the answer anywhere online.

I have a patch on my GT-1000 Core which has 3 controls.

1. Engage Octave

2. Engage Chorus

3. Change input (switches between input 1 (fretless bass) and input 2 (fretted bass)

The issue I have is that my 'engage oct' is not a straight forward FX it's a 'Div' => 'Oct' => 'eq' => 'mix' so that both the FX and eq get engageded at the same time meaning the display says "DIV2 CH. SEL" instead of "FX1 OCT" as you might expect.

So as you can see from the photo, I have to remember that:

DIV2 CH. SEL = "Octave"

DIV1 CH. SEL = "Toggle inputs"

Surely there is a way for me to rename the display to some alternative text rather than remembering what every 'Div' is controlling for every patch? Anyone know how?

Set the down footswitch to control Octave on/off but use an assign to change div2 channel. It’s a little silly but results in a more intuitive message. It’s annoying you can’t manually set the label.

Thank you @MrDinsdale works like a charm!

Label setting would be great (e.g. rename "DIV1 CH. SEL", to be something meaningful like "Input Toggle" or something) but this works perfectly for my situation.

Cheers!
