Schlippy Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 Those Double Thruster pedals are insanely good, they're so close to the B3K as to be pretty much indistinguishable. This fella on the YouTubes put up a glowing review of the Joyo clones, and Darkglass made the decision (or mistake, depending on how you look at it) of sending him the originals so he could A/B them. He did, and here's the result: The Monomyth isn't quite right, but the Double Thruster is pretty much 100% bang on (starts testing the Double Thruster at around the 1:30 mark). 35 notes for one of these is a steal. 1
maidens97 Posted January 21, 2024 Author Posted January 21, 2024 This is the very review that got me to order one of these! I am half tempted to keep hold of it but the HX stomp also does a good emulation of the darkglass sound so not really needing the Joyo anymore. It's just sat in its box on my shelf at the moment next to the OC2.
