Currently TI Jazz Flats, but they are a tad expensive so you may want something else. Unfortunately there are many to choose from, but I’m sure someone will be along shortly with alternatives. Good luck, you got a bargain. If you go for flats then you can't go wrong TI Jazz. A tad expensive but worth every penny. I also use Galli Synthesis strings, slightly less bright but the only bass guitar strings on the market with a nylon core, so has a very unique, flexible feel. Quote

Norris Posted January 12, 2024 Posted January 12, 2024 If you're on a tight budget it's worth checking out the classified ads on here. There are always sets of pre-loved strings available in all sorts of brands and gauges. Personally I'm another d'Addario XL user Quote

Robbo Posted January 15, 2024 Author Posted January 15, 2024 Thank you to everyone for the recommendations I settled for some Ernie Ball 45-105 and a battery change and it’s made a big difference. 4 Quote
