Fen8
Hi, I'm looking to sell my bass but can't remember if it was a Japanese or Korean build and was wondering if anyone could help me out with identifying it's country of origin. I'm almost positive it was Japan but i'm not 100% certain. Thanks very much. LINK 1 LINK 2 LINK 3 LINK

I was trying to find one yesterday, couldn't find a single thing which might have helped to identify it. All I know is I bought it in 2009/10 in a guitar shop in Denmark Street, and I'll never be a John Paul Jones or Mark King.

That tells the model. I didn’t know some was made in Korea. My Yamaha pulser has a serial number on the headstock so I can date it to 1978-79. talkbass may be a place to ask also. Im not very familiar with tokai history sadly. Fender japan was where Ive looked mostly as I was on the hunt for a pb62-95 and pb70-95. hopefully someone will be able to help out. MrCrane
You could try asking on the Tokai Registry site. https://www.tokairegistry.com/
