itu
Well, someone needed that, why not? Nice colour.
JPJ
I must admit I thought the attraction of a Wal was the active circuit. Given that this one is passive and it’s been butchered to an add a J pickup I can’t see it being worth anything like the asking price.
tubbybloke68
I know what you mean about it maybe not being worth that because of the mod, but I guess a lot of people would argue that about the second hand prices SOME people are asking for theirs anyway? One thing for sure though, a passive wal still sounds like a wal, my pro II is probably my favourite, and I have a few. Certainly don’t think one loses much with a passive wal in my humble opinion x
martin8708
From my limited experience 5K seems to be the going rate for unadulterated Wal Pro 1’s . In the world of vintage Fender , extra routing / extra pickups / addition of Floyd rose trem seriously affects the resale value . As said , shame about the J . Burns-bass
“I have no idea of the value so I’m going to look online at a dealer and price it at £1000 more than they would charge…” God bless the Great British private seller.
