Problem with a Phil Jones Bass Cub II 110

Hi All,

I have a Phil Jones Bass Cub II 110 that stopped working. I have been trying to find someone in London who can repair it but did not have any luck yet. Advice and recommendations are very welcome. Thanks in advance.

First question: Does it work with headphones?

Hi BassmanPaul,

Thank you very much for your questions. No, it does not switch on. In fact, sometimes it does switch on but immediately after goes off. I replaced the fuse of the plug and the fuse in the connector to the plug in the amp... still the same result.

I would eMail Phil and see what he suggests. It could be simply a bad power switch or some protection kicking in.

 

For interest how is the speaker connected to the amp?
