MM Stingray 62
I went across to Overwater in November to discuss getting a bass made. Chris gave me a guided tour of the workshops. I got to meet all the team a very talented bunch of guys. Me and Chris sat down and we discussed exactly what I wanted for the bass specs wise. I also had a good chat with Martin the Workshop manager about different woods they have in stock. Here are the specs I went for in the end. Body - Mahogany Neck - Five piece through neck fretted 40mm nut Facings- Top - Back & Headstock Burl Maple - stained Fingerboard - Ebony with Burl Maple block markers. EQ - OW 3 band Pickup OW SB4 Matching wooden pickup covers and knobs with ebony tops & matching burl maple backplates Hardware - Black Finish- Satin The build has started now here are a few photos Martin sent me of the top and the neck for the diary. MM Stingray 62
I’m actually going over to Overwater in the morning so I can choose the actual colour I’m going for. Chris and the whole team have been a great help to me. It’s a little daunting with all the different woods and upgrades you can have. Chris and team work with you to make sure the end result is exactly what you want.

Richard R
I'm not a fan of big block MOP inlays, but having those in the same wood as the body looks very smart indeed.

Mikey R
The first real boutique bass I ever tried out was way back in Music Exchange in Brum, probably early 2000s. Still one of my favourite British brands. This is shaping up to be a stonker! That burl has really popped under the lacquer!
