jd56hawk Posted January 23, 2024 Posted January 23, 2024 (edited) No active/passive switch but two nice finish options...I think they look a bit classier than the typical Talmans. Cosmic Blue Starburst iced Americano Burst $399.99. Edited January 23, 2024 by jd56hawk 8 Quote
Lfalex v1.1 Posted January 23, 2024 Posted January 23, 2024 Interesting how the grain patterns are so very similar. Are the images photoshops or are the tops photoflames, I wonder? I'll have a look for more (different) images. 3 Quote
neil___lien Posted January 23, 2024 Posted January 23, 2024 Ah f**k.. now i want one.. the Cosmic Blue Starburst looks awesome Quote
TRBboy Posted January 23, 2024 Posted January 23, 2024 They look pretty cool, although I can't help thinking some classic candy colours would really suit the Talman shape. Is everything else the same as the 100's on these, except the finish and blocks? Quote
Pauld Posted January 23, 2024 Posted January 23, 2024 The neck is roasted. I think everything else is like tmb100 https://www.ibanez.com/eu/products/detail/tmb400ta_1p_01.html 2 Quote
Muzz Posted January 23, 2024 Posted January 23, 2024 They look nice, just been looking...with my main criteria being 'What does the thing weigh?', and, as ever, it's not easy to find out. The PMT page in particular clearly couldn't give a flying...erm, whatever: 1 Quote
Cato Posted January 23, 2024 Posted January 23, 2024 I like the shape of the Talman but I'm not keen on those finishes. Quote

msb Posted January 29, 2024 Posted January 29, 2024 (edited) The necks can be substantial , and prone to diving. But if you spend enough time to get accustomed to them they’re comfy enough. I saw a picture someone posted of one that had been modded , and then wanted to try one myself. I dropped in a Tbird pickup. I’ll probably change the pots , not crazy about the taper. Will probably drop in ultralite tuners. I’m not in a rush. Edited January 29, 2024 by msb 1 Quote
